The ProblemPages.co.uk chat room is provided as a free, unmoderated resource for registered members of the ProblemPages.co.uk forums. When you are logged in to the forums the 'FlashChat' link will appear in the main menu at the top of the page. Click on the link to be automatically logged into the chat room with your ProblemPages.co.uk forum identity.

We accept no responsibility for postings or comments made in the chat room! You are advised not to give out personal information such as address, telephone numbers or even your full name.

The chat room uses Flash which comes as a standard plug-in with most browsers. If you don't have it you can download free from the Macromedia website.

What if someone is being abusive in the chat room?

Even though the chat room is unmoderated there will sometimes be a forum moderator present. If a moderator is present the abusive person will probably be kicked out of the room. If no moderator is present you can choose to ignore the person by clicking on their name.

Please remember that you use the chat room at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety, particularly with regard to your personal information. We accept no responsibility for postings or comments made.

If a user is consistently abusive we will do all we can to help (e.g. by providing their IP address or banning them from the chat room) but we are unable to take any further action. You are advised to record all abusive messages including dates, times etc. in case the situation becomes serious and you decide to contact the appropriate authorities.
