I'm going to try all these things! :D

I sleep very badly, too, but a few years ago I bought a "sleep" CD, crashing waves, birdsong and the sounds of nature etc. What sort of sounds/music relaxes you most? I play mine at bedtime, and when I wake up at 3am I play it again (use ear phones if you don't want to wake your partner, but he probably wouldn't wake up if you had a brass band in the room... :roll: ). It may send you off to sleep half an hour before you're due to get up, but with practice you can train yourself to recognise it as a signal to go to sleep.

I put it on my pc at work to relax me once, but I kept nodding off at my desk. :o
