I posted a problem on here a week or two ago about revision so that might help, the main answer I got was to use little cards and write down the main points so I don't have lots and lots of pages of writing to read through constantly.

Reading the post might help a little bit but it wasn't really advice about what's the best thing you can do in a short perid of time.

Sorry to be a stick in the mud, but why have you left it so late?? [-X

On the plus side these are only the prelims so you get to correct your mistakes in time for the real deal!

I would try and get a good overview of the arty subjects (English, art, history etc.) so you know what the course was about and what the aims were. Then make sure you know all the little details for the sciences (chem, boilogy maths) earn the formulas, and look at a few past papers, you don't need to answer them, just work out how you would answer them, and only do the ones you have no clue about. The learn a few quotes! I got through uni by doing this, the generally good grasp of the course plus a few really in depth quotes makes it seem like you know more than you do!

Then bear two things in mind:
1) i don't know if i speak for all schools but mine marked the prelims far harder than the real exams were marked, so don't be totally disheartened if you get rubbish marks, just take it as a sign that you need to work!
2) you've got a good bit of time to revise for the real exams, make sure you use it!

They always give you P and N papers which are far harder than the SQA ones anyway
