It all depends on the situation of course.
But why do you want to know comebacks? Arguing never solves a thing...and one or both parties always go away upset and unsatisfied. Its low to settle into an argument. There are more productive ways of settling a matter then to argue. If someone starts up an argument with you. Say, "I'm not doing this with you," if you want, and then walk away. It really does take the bigger person to do that, whether they think so or not.
HE has all the answers

The wait for that perfect someone may be long and painful, but the payoff lasts even longer, and is the most painless thing in the world.

I agree. Anyone can start an argument but it takes a bigger person to walk away. Come backs are simply verbal, to see who can have the last word. Nothing will get sorted if you are both battling to get the last word in.
When you reach for the stars, you may not quite get them, but you won't come up with a handful of mud either.

Just remember to keep smiling!

Yeh, you could call it not sinking to their level as well.

Yeh if you just said ' Oh I can't be bothered to waste my time talking to you, get a life' then that's better than making stupid comebacks. I would hate it if people walk of because your left there feeling really immature because you were shouting names at them!
