I need to write about a leader

Postby gatekeeper » Wed Jun 28, 2006 4:51 pm

Hi! I have an assignment, I'm supposed to write 1000 words on some world famous leader. It can be from any era but I'd rather write about a modern leader because I have to analyse his/her leadership style and what makes the person a good leader instead of an autobiography of the person. Anyone with any suggestions?

Pick someone like Hitler, or Stalin. Who were both evil individuals - but very good at leading.

I'd go for someone like George Bush. You've got lots of present material on him. For and against.

Richard Nixon.

Analyse his domestic problems as President, triangular diplomacy and whether or not he was a successful foreign president and Watergate.

Great minds eh? I was thinking Pol Pot too! Maybe Chairman Mao? The changes to China under his rule were phenomenal...
