Missing someone

Postby sparkly_star » Fri Mar 20, 2009 8:25 pm

What do you guys do to make yourself feel better when you miss someone? :(
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

Well, it depends on the circumstances really.

If it's someone I just can't see at the moment, I might have a look at things that remind me of them, and how much we care about each other, like cards etc, and feel grateful to have them in my life even though we can't always be together.

If it's someone I don't see any more, I remind myself why that was for the best, and think about the new people I'll meet.

If it's someone who is now dead, I also look at things that remind me of them, and feel that I was lucky to know them and they were lucky to have a good life.
How we spend our days is how we spend our lives.
