Feeling down

Postby kitten » Thu Apr 06, 2006 4:14 pm

I feel like life constantly disappoints me.

I am so confused at the moment and I have no idea what I'm doing. Its like I'm just muddling through.

I should be happy with what I have, but I'm not and it really gets to me at times. Today being one of them. :(

Was going to start a new post but thought I'd use this one.

I am really down at the moment. Its coming up to the 9th anniversary of my friends death. He died in such horrible, tragic circumstances. It was a farm accident but we were on work experience when he died and myself and another friend were working at the Fire Service and the call came into the control room about him

It is also coming up to the 1st anniversary of my family cats death, it may not seem like a big thing to some people. But he was a great friend to me and always there when I was upset. He died at 15 so had a good life but I miss him so much.

On top of all that I still need to go to the doctors, and am due to start marriage counselling along with other things.

Just needed to vent a bit.

Sometimes life likes to kick you in the face, but without the bad time, you'd never appreciate the good. :)

Thanks guys. I'm having a good day today. Think every now and then I get a little relapse. I was obviously tired as went to read last night at 8pm, woke up at 10.30pm when husband got into bed, then not until 8am!! Feel refreshed now.

Worried about appointment on Monday, but I'm going to take one day at a time, I may get the all clear anyway (fingers crossed).

Finally getting things back together, husband is being great we are going to Relate on Wednesday and then camping for our anniversary.

Just wish I could help my friends now too. But much like me in the begining I didn't want help.

Counselling went great, hubby said I was the best thing that ever happened to him and he never wanted to lose me.

Counsellor told him he had an abnormally high sex drive and he ought to do something to counter the extra testosterone which is good, because I have felt so bad about this for so long thought there was something wrong with me!

They've recommended a few more sessions. But it looks like I am finally getting things back together. Which after so many years of feeling lost is great.

She told hubby that in the stage of our relationship he should be very happy with the amount of sex he's getting and should stop nagging me all the time

Now just have to hope for all clear from nurse.

kitten, I'm more pleased than I can say that things are looking up at last - you've worked so hard on sorting yourself out, it looks as if your efforts are really starting to pay off.

Keep it up, eh? :) And keep us informed!

lots of love
