some girls do but thats because either their shy or they dont want their friends to think their soft so they expect the lads to make the first move and ask them!!

I would never ask a guy out.
When i met stew, i flirted and stuff but i would never have made the first move and asked him out.
I guess because girls are scared of being turned down (well i know boys can too) and are shy.

Well my opinion is no. I dont expect anything!! Life in general throws the unexpected at you and if you think a bloke likes you but is too shy to ask you out then go for it!
