Faking it??

Postby lizzie.s. » Thu Feb 26, 2004 5:19 pm

One of my friends at school has been self harming, and she says she has alot on her plate, but she has never actually given me any examples, and we talk about EVERYTHING. i am beginning to get the feeling she is acting depressed to get attention. what do i do??

Lizzie s,

If she is self harming for attention or actind depressed for attention then she is probably feeling a bit low. Just be there for her and offer to talk to her instead of her cutting herself.

Take care,

hi
You should go to heavy on her if she does cut herself and you say she inst then it will drive her further away.Maybe you should try to help her by telling her what wrong and giving her advice tell her how bad and serious this is so if she is lying she will be forced to confess and if she inst then she will be glad of the warnings and maybe stop.cheese xx

Hey,
you should talk to her about it, as her friend say u are really worried about her and want to help her through it. I had a mate who self harmed, its a horrible thing but I guess people deal with stress in a number of different manners. Just be there for her when she needs you :D
