excessivley polite or overtired?

Post by rufio89 » Thu Mar 12, 2009 9:04 pm

What do you reckon? Over the past couple of days I've said thank you on 3 very embarrasing occasions, do you think I'm over-polite or over-tired?

1. Said thank you to the cashmachine when it gave me my money.
2. Said thank you when I got off the tram (there's no driver near the doors, just other people)
3. (this is the most embarrasing) Said thank you to the automatic doors in tesco.

Auto-pilot. You have other things on your mind at the minute what with your nan, your boyfriend, family and importantly - yourself.
A hug is a great gift, one size fits all.

You're just naturally polite and lovely, Rufio. :P

Apart from the tram (we don't have those here) I've done all those things myself too.
These mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb.

Oh no - at least, no more than me, anyway . . . 8-[

The cash machine one is the most embarrassing I think - there are less people likely to overhear you thanking an automatic door because everyone's rushing in and out, but at the cash machine there are nearly always people standing quite close with nothing to do but wait.

haha I love the cash machine one :D
I admit it did make me chuckle, I bet everyone has done that at least 1ns, I bet some people do it without even noticing.
most likely over tired in my opinion :D
Worrying is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere.

I would rather there is too many nice folk in the world! It shows you have manners (even if it is to machines) something which people today lack!!!
