I am friends with him - the problem is there is only 30 of us so we are all friends and he has to block certain things.

True, if its one person using a site too much he normally blocks it for a few days, however if LOADS of people are viewing the page it gets permanantly blocked...the only site that is blocked is face book (I have to separate it for the filters). I don't blame them to be honest but it's annoying we can put face book in work emails as a whole word yet not when we type in a hotmail email. We can view p*rn at work however not face book! lol

lol that's a bit silly. Loads of sites are blocked where I work. Anything that's deemed social networking e.g. Facebook, myspace, Twitter and anything else 'inappropriate' is. If Facebook wasn't blocked I know I'd spend a lot of time on there. I won't know what to do with myself if PP ever gets blocked, however, I work in a big company so I don't know if I'll ever get caught out?!

Well I think most people were using face book so it got blocked - we'd all sign in and forget about it and leave it open all day even if we weren't playing with it...thats the culprit!

I can get on myspace and twitter and anything else (except that skinny link in the other thread but it's not blocked it's just "unavailable".

I can get on ebay, yeh. We're only supposed to use 'personal' sites such as that over lunchtime, that would be all well and good if I had work to do the rest of the time!

Sneaky :). We did that in school but I haven't found a way around face book yet.

Ours is anything with it in the title. There was a site on a news article and it contained f.book in the title, couldn't view it. The annoying thing is we can type it out in full on works emails but not on hotmail emails, it blocks the hotmail email if we include the full word - THAT is annoying!
