Yeh, that was exactly like the Mormons, they wouldn't just leave it. In the end I just had to say "sorry, I'm not interested" and walk off, even as I was walking away they said "do you know anybody who would be?" so I just shouted "no" and kept going, haha

I had one of the krisha monks trying to sell me a book which as far as i could tell was about how women are a useless sub-species.

:o :o really?
i always thought they were really peaceful and didnt disturb anyone.
my bf accidently knocked one over in oxford street, and all he did was get up and bowed at him and then carried on singing and dancing down the street, it was so funny to see!

this one was trying to sell me books and CD's. He was very friendly, that's why I picked up the book to flick through it (no intention of buying of course), but then I went away again.

Hare krishna.

We have a Hare krishna building not far away - I've never seen them go in or out, it's opposite a church and close to a mosque - we have it all lol.

When I worked in a supermarket we used to have a "religious" set of ladies coming in - I never knew what they were, I always thought it was rude to ask when inreality I was interested. They used (still do lol) to wear long red thick robes/dresses, they are floor length, sandles and they all had shaved heads. I'd still like to know their religion.

One of my friends is Indian and I always ask loads of questions about his religion, I always start off with, I'm not being rude, if I am sorry, it's because I don't understand, I'm just interested... I think he is now well aware I ask too many questions about his religion.

I'd have thought they were Buddists, but I'm not entirely sure, I could be totally wrong!!

Back to our indicator discussion...

Last night I was waiting at the roundabout to go straight over, there was a lady pulling out from opposite (i.e. straight over) indicating to go right, so I didn’t pull out since she’d be going past me…oh no she went straight over didn’t she, so I could have gone!!!!!! I wish people would learn that only indicate right when turning right and not at any other time

I am very easily annoyed but once it's off my chest I can move on - if I'm on my own all day and something annoys me, I will stew about it all day!

A couple of things:
Lisa Scott Lee. I don't want to be personal about this woman just in case she has a problem, comes on this site and is reading, but seriously, why is she still on programmes as the token celebrity? Steps finished ages ago and she has had little solo success. She also promised us that if her last single didn't make the top ten then she would give up. Well she's still knocking about the place! I saw her on Claire Richards' weight loss programme the other day! Only for five seconds at the end but she was still there! Really, I do not wish to keep seeing her on TV.

When I am booking people in for appointments at work, the conversation may go something like this:
Me: When would you like to come in?
Them: Oh whenever really. I don't mind.
Me: Monday at 2pm?
Them: Oh not Monday at 2pm. I have to pick the kids up at 3.30.
Me: Okay, Tuesday at 9am?
Them: Oh no, too early.
Me: How about Tuesday at 11am?
Them: Oh no I have to go to Tesco that day.
Me: Wednesday at 10.30?
Them: Nah - I'm waiting for the gas man on Wednesday.
Me: WHEN ARE YOU FREE THEN?
Them: Have you got anything on Thursday?
Me: Yes - 11.15?
Them: In the morning?
Me: No, we're trialling a new careers-advice-through-the-night service...... OF COURSE IN THE MORNING!!!!
Them: Yes that's fine.
Me: Great.

Sorry, feeling a bit negative this morning! First I'm moaning in the Chris Moyles thread and now this!

Well, you said it helps to get it off your chest, Moose, so hopefully it was therapeutic! :D

A big annoyance I have every working day is the french guy I sit with, he laughs at everything "I speak about corrosion hahahahaha" He also laughs like I'dimagine a duck billed playtpuss honking a laughing a horn.

Hmm perhaps mention how many people are listed in the obituaries

I actually love hearing people laugh but If they laugh at things that aren't funny and far too often i think I might get annoyed too

I rarely laugh and I hate it and when I do it's about something really really stupid and then i laugh so much i cry and it reall hurts my face and stomach muscles (you cantell i obviuosly don't wor out much if laughing even hurts my muscles)
I do find things funny but just can't laugh - very odd and a little annoyance

Oh we have two laughers at work, one is the French guy, and the other the australian girl...although her group of friends are all copying and becoming serial laugers too.

I need to secretly record the french laugh though as it's soooooooooo bad.
