:O you haven't??? We make them; it's fun and childish; at easter we also decorated boiled eggs heheheheehehehehe. Post a photo of it so we can see your first attempt :) I've been looking for ideas on how to carve mine.

We used to decorate boiled eggs too.

There used to be a competition at my primary school and i was sick of losing. So me and my Dad made one out of some sort of plaster/clay and decorated it like those really expensive ones that begin with an F. I can spell it hahaha. I won that year!

I'm looking forward to next Easter where i can do it with my daughter.
You know you're a mum when the thought of food shopping alone becomes exciting.

When you and your significant other are having an argument, just take all of your clothes off during the spat and stand there. Something is bound to happen!! =]

Faberge?

I am going out for a pub crawl tonight, then for the rest of the weekend, just chilling out. I fancy carving a pumpkin now, though I can't bear eating them.

I don't plan on eating my pumpkin, the middle will go in the bin! It's all for ornamental value :)

That sounds sweet re: decorating eggs with your daughter LJ!

I'm not eating the middle either, the bit that comes out is the seeds, you carve the flesh so you can't really eat it.

I have been considering making pumpkin pie. hence why the thought, would need to roast it first though, so yeh the flesh is gonna go in the bin.

I very much enjoyed carving halloween pumpkins on Friday, hehe.

After doing so I cannot imagine wanting to have pumpkin soup/cake or anything pumpkin related though... I am sure it's lovely really, but the middle is one of the least appetising things I have seen/smelt!

It's that time again people :D - any plans?

Did anyone do anything for bonfire night last night? I went to a little village near where I live, they have a big bonfire and some fireworks there, was really nice. Will be seeing some more fireworks over the weekend as my friend is having some at hers tomorrow night. Going for dinner with another friend tonight. Roll on 3.30pm!!!!!

Any plans for this weekend anyone? I'm going to my parents for dinner tonight and meeting a uni friend for lunch tomorrow. The rest I will be playing by ear, should probably do some uni work too!

No plans, although I do need to call into a post office at some point but that is the only plan so far.
