The secret life of PP (or not)

Postby RagDoll » Thu May 28, 2009 11:02 am

Hey,

I was just wondering if your 'partners' (trying to include everyone, married or not) know that you use ProblemPages? My boyfriend knows I use it, which means I have to be a little bit careful about what I say :-? I very much doubt he'll come on here to check up on me, but I do kinda wish I hadn't told him now....

I've not said :). I've just said "forum I read online".

I don't ask him which 400 gaming sites he's signed up to or playing or physically talking to. I can see them all on his computer (address bar, favourites) if I care to look. I'm not interested, I don't understand all the game things he does anyway.

I've not told anyone, not even mentioned a forum. Although that said, I use google chrome so it brings up my most visited pages and surprise, surprise, PP is top, haha.

But I wouldnt want to tell people, or I couldnt talk about them haha

Yeh my boyfriend knows i come on here. He has asked after arguments if I have posted on here. So I try tobe careful what I say, and has prevented me putting alot of my problems on here. Have considered asking to have my name changed, so he won't recognise me if I do post.

My bf could quite easily find me if he actually looked. I have written ONE thing on here I wouldn't want him to see. However the rest of it I'm ok with. We generally talk about things a lot; I don't think he'd appreciate me talking about the stuff to other people, however none of you know him so it's ok. He did once speak to someone we both knew about me and I wasn't very impressed...however it was more what he said about me rather than who he said it to, and wher the rest of the conversation went. He did promise never to do it again though...

Yeh, I have kinda considered having my name changed too. So far I haven't really posted anything that I wouldn't want him to see, but I guess it does sometimes prevent me from posting some problems.

I only told him because he was making general chit-chat in an email and asked what I was up to at work (he knows I get really bored and have nothing to do) so I told him that I had discovered PP. The more I've kinda got into it though, the more I wish I hadn't mentioned it to him as now I know he could look on here if he wanted to (though I doubt he would!).

He knows cos his pc is next to mine in our flat. We have seperate pcs, cos he is into gaming, and I would never get on the net otherwise.

I agree, but he hasn't on this occassion as we have a running joke about it - I take the mick out of him for being a computer games geek and he takes the mick out of me for being a PP geek now, lol 8)

He'll email me at work and be like "on PP again? :P "

My boyfriend knows I come on here, and he doesn't really care. We have always had a thing in our relationship where we don't talk to anyone about our problems, so he knows I wouldn't post anything on here that he wouldn't like.

yeah my bf sort've knows i come on a 'problem page'
not sure if he knows i actually post...
think he would definately know who i was if he read my posts!
dont think i would like him to know though as we both tend to look at situations differently and i dont really want to get into any sort of 'debate' with him over a problem thats not ours!

Ah yes Bel Bel, but that's partly because you don't post your own problems, you're too busy helping everyone else out :D
