Re: Nudism

Actually, it's funny that we've mentioned subjecting kids to it - I brought this thread up with my boyfriend last night and he said that his friends parents used to go on nudist holidays and take their children with them. I asked if that meant the kids (e.g. his friends) had to get naked too and he said he didn't think so - but imagine how uncomfortable the whole experience would have been for them!! Also, imagine how much they'd get bullied about the whole thing if people at their school had found out!

There has been some TV programmes about nudism. There were parents being interviewed and their kids were interviewed - the parents said their kids could wear clothes if they wanted to; the parents were always naked - even when friends came around; unless the kids asked them to cover up because they were embarrassed.

I suppose being brought up with nudity makes you appreciate the body in all shapes and sizes. My parents were always pretty open with nudity; although they aren't like serendipity. They are always fully clothed unless going in the shower/bath and then they'll walk around naked; where I like to cover myself up. Then they'll put their pj's on.

Yeh, personally I think it'd be weird as a child (or at any age!!) to go on holiday with your parents, only to discover that they and everyone else there spends the whole time naked, even if you didn't. Do children really have to see loads of naked people wandering around?!

I mean I can see that it's good to appreciate different body shapes etc. but I don't think everyone has to be naked for that to be so.

I think there are limits when it comes to nudism.

I agree, however if that child had been brought up with it from being born they would just think that is was normal....

On a gross side note; I always wondered what the women do at that time of the month.

Yeh, the problem with them thinking it's normal is that a lot of people wouldn't consider it normal - so there's a chance they'll be bullied for it if they were to mention it to other children.

On an even grosser note (and slightly ruder!) I was also wondering what men do when they get a bit *ahum* excited?! lol

I wondered that too ragdoll.

I assumed they'd just get used to it eventually; or being nudists everyone would laugh it off.

The thing is if you constantly see e.g. your wife/gf naked...when you actually want a bit of fun it's not like just seeing her naked would start that process.
(I said to my bf ages ago; I wonder how many clothes I need to remove to get you excited; I stood at the end of the bed...fully clothed and there he was 'excited'). So for him the fun part is the getting naked.

Yeh, all you could do is laugh it off or just act like nothing is happening!

My boyfriend and I were laughing at that particular scenario and he suggested that perhaps you could use it to carry your towel around or something?! lol
