Slang - Bluetooth. What?

Postby rufio89 » Mon Jul 13, 2009 10:47 am

Right, I need some help on this, lol.

I was walking home last night, and I walked past this chavvy lad, and he said to me:

"alrite love, nice track, wanna bluetooth it to me?"

I have literally no idea what he means. He was definatly talking to me, but what the hell is he talking about? I wasnt listening to music, I didnt have my phone out. I was very confused. Is this some kind of slang that I dont get?

lol

Bluetooth is a connection technology used on phones, to connect to other phones or technologies. Maybe he was using it as a term to hook up? that's the only thing that I can think that he means.. That he liked your style and wanted to share info.. :)

yeah I know what bluetooth was, I've just never heard it used as slang.

Maybe thats what he meant... I suppose it (sort-of) makes sense?

yes he is saying he wants to have a pic to keep so bluetooth it, makes perfect sense to me. He knows it won't really happen but it's a crude chat up line and he thinks he is being really funny

Weird. I've got no idea what he meant. All I can think of is that it relates to what Bel Bel said.. maybe the bluetooth thing was a way of asking you out or something.
I have no idea though. Crazy.

I looked up bluetooth on urban dictionary and the defintions 10 + 11 might make some sort of vague sense, although it is probably not appropriate to post them on here! I have no idea what the bit about track meant (unless thats what he calls a hoody eg. tracksuit top), although I reckon bel bel is right.

Yeah that could make sense I guess. Quite disrespectful.

so he could have meant nice top, bluetooth it to me, then he may go out and try to find one like it himself,

but then why didn't he just ask where you got it from

all very weird
