are you bothered by your partner looking at 'naughty stuff'?

my friends were recently horrified when i said that i had no problems with my man of 4 years to read dirty magazines, watch adult movies and even go to strip bars with mates if thats what they wanna do (which he hasn't yet but knows i wouldn't mind).
sometimes i look at this stuff with him. he doesn't do it too often but he knows that he is 'allowed'.

i recently read in a problem page magazine a woman writing in to say that she caught her husband watching adult films and she felt betrayed almost as if he had cheated on her!

what are your views on this?
and are my views strange?
a girl came on to him in a club once and i went crazy at her so its not like i'm the 'easy going type'. its more just a case of you can look you can't touch [-X

we're in a loving relationship he is 23, i'm nearly 20.

I think its fine to look and to enjoy things like adult movies etc if thats what your into,as long as it isnt affecting the relationship (like not being intimate but then looking at porn every day or something).I dont think I would like him going to a strip bar cos the women all over him (even though its their job) would make me uncomfortable.

I'm male, I dont look at dirty mags etc and I'd never ever go to a strip bar.
However, I do think its fine for a partner to watch porn etc so long as its not excessively.
Additionally strip bars are definitely a no no in my eyes. Why should a guy go to a strip bar when the most beautiful woman in the world is at home?

It is true. I mean its down to my personal thoughts and feelings of course, but when I have a girlfriend thats how I see things.

I have no problem with my boyfriend looking at porn. I have a problem with lap dancing as that's far too close for comfort but I'm ok with strip bars for like a stag do or something as it's look but don't touch in most of the places (the ones that don't offer lap dancing, that is). I trust him so it's all gravy, baby.

My bf watches porn, I don't like it...we don't live together so I don't mind. If however we lived together and he was watching it a lot then I wouldn't be happy. I would NOT be impressed it he went to a strip bar, because if it was me going to strip bars, I wouldn't because I'd think he'd be upset by it.

Maybe I'm just weird and a control freak (?!) lol, but I wouldn't like it if my boyfriend watched porn or went to a strip club. I just don't get the need for porn when you have a girlfriend and can basically have the real thing whenever you want it.

I know a lot of girls don't have issue with it and will even watch it with their boyfriends etc. and that's fine, but personally it would upset me.

I have no problem with porn. I read erotic stories, so can't really complain about my bf watching stuff.

I am not sure how I would feel about lapdancing clubs although I have teased my bf, that I would take him to one. Even in lapdancing clubs, there is normally a no touching rule, or so I am told by the guys I used to work with. I suppose my problem would be if the porn and other naughty things took over our sex life.

Going to a lap dancing club together is a different kettle of fish to going to one alone.

That is true. I am not sure really if it would bother me, I guess as long as he was honest with me about it I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't stop him going.

Watching it with me is ok. I wouldn't really like it if he did it on his own but if it was occasional and he didn't tried to hide the fact I think I would be ok. Lap dancing and strip clubs are seedy and promote the wrong sort of image and sometimes give men the wrong expectation of what a woman should look like. On a day to day basis you cannot strump around in heels and underwear and lets face it some of us don't have the bodies for it anyway. These girls tend to have short lived careers whilst they have the body for it so it isn't reflective of reality and that can cause problems when a man has a warped expectation
I feel the same way about porn to a degree but at least it's on film so it's a bit more obvious it's not real just like die hard isn't
Although I would be really upset if he was into weird porn - grannys, kids, beatings etc
I think for me it's about not lying and hiding stuff that is more of an upset and alot of men seem to do that

I wouldn't have a problem with the magazines or the movies, but I would draw a line at the strip clubs, because thats just too real
