Thanks..

I think it's just one of those things that nobody ever wants to do intentionally - but most of us do it in some way....

I'm definately guilty of stereotyping (normally with MEN!!) comes from having quite a few bad experiences......I'm not proud of it, but I thought I'd be honest...

It disgusts me.
I think everyone is individual.
When i was 34 weeks pregnant i had to stay in hospital as my babys growth had slowed. And my waters broke at 25 weeks.
After 3 days of being in there i started to get pains so i told a nurse, then i kept having shows of blood still they did nothing and thought i was just the typical teenage whinging, the left me with no breakfast because it hurt to much to walk about, when they finnally got seen by a doctor my babys head was halfway down the birth canal.
Hes one now and he still has a red pressure mark on his forhead where he waited so long to be pushed out.
I made sure they knew i was disgusted with them! :grrr:

I don't often stereotype, it normally happens when i get drunk. Everybody is guilty of stereotyping.
My friends call it selective categorising!

lol at 'selective categorising' misatok! Although i disagree with you saying 'Everybody is guilty of stereotyping' I'm not guilty of stereotyping, I am completely against it...

I'm horrified at how the nurses and people in the hospital treated you sovs! I also believe there are no typical teenagers, oap's etc.. I hate how most people stereotype others becasue of their clothes too. I just detest stereotyping! AGGHH!

At some point you will have been guilty of stereotyping, you might not notice but it does happen...

I know what you're saying...but i can't ever have stereotyped. It just isn't what i do. Everyone is themselves, no body is the same... we shouldn't judge people...

Yes I agree. Assuming somebody is like "that" is wrong. "Never judge a book by it's cover!"
Much love,

Yeah I know what you mean, if theres a bloke walking down the street with just a T-Shirt on I dont look twice, but if there's a group of lads walking down the street swearing and look thugish, I do look twice.

Guess I am stereotypical :-?

Stereotyping is a natural human characteristic. It is involved with our reactions to situations, in forming decisions, and using our past experience to assist our survival.
