It's terrible. RIP. :(
When you reach for the stars, you may not quite get them, but you won't come up with a handful of mud either.

Just remember to keep smiling!

Awful. Absolutely awful. I was in Tenerife when it happened and, as I said in the other thread, my office is literally 30 seconds away from where the bus bomb went off.

Two minutes silence for the people that lost their lives on Thursday. Rest In Peace.

Oh dear I'm here looking like a fool, crying into my coffee at work after reading all of these, thinking of an excuse to tell my colleagues.
My love and cuddles go out to everyone who has lost someone.

I'd like to put a message in memory of my great grandmother who passed away 9 years ago. She's still very much missed.

Also to my grandfather who died at the age of 57 from Azheimers disease. Nan still desperatly misses him as they didn't have very long together.

And to Maddie, the staffie very much part of the family, still very much missed by all of us.

Plus all my partners grandparents (4) who died within 2 weeks of each other. They would be so proud of him now.

Life's unfair isn't it

I got into the habit of lighting a candle every night when my mum died - I'll think of your partner's grandad when I light it tonight, Arwen, and Becky and her family too.

Aaaaaah. I've lit an enormous candle tonight - loving thoughts to all who need them.

Arwen, I hope that when your partner's grandmother realises grandad is getting better, it will speed her recovery. Please keep us in the picture.

Beckyt, you've got a lot of grief bottled up inside you, just go to a quiet place and let it out.

Actually, try lighting a candle yourself, and focus all your love and grief on it. Think about the people who have gone, and send them loving thoughts. I promise you, it really does help.

It's one year since the siege in which over 300 children and staff at Beslan School Number One died.

One of the worst days in Russian history will never be forgotten
