wanna hear something sad? i like to read books that have had movies made cos i like to see if i feel the charicters fit to the actors and if the directors made the best of the charicters. they were all books long before films. the next book i wanna read is the book they based about scmidt on but i cant find it :( the charicter building would be so wonderful. sometimes when i read books i amagine who would play them in movies lol. i'm sad.

I do that too!! There's someone else out there. Two books that havent been made into cheap rubbish films are Anna Karenina and War and Peace by Tolstoy. I love Anna Karenin(Karenina) once in Russian and once in English. It's better in Russian.

Does anyone know if the book about scmidt was based on was also called about schmdt? i cant find it :'(

a film i want to see made into a film is Blast from the past by ben elton, i have all the direction and scenes in my head with the actors. maybe i should be a film director lol

i always read a book 3 times-

1 - to get the story
2 - to get the charicters
3 - to put story and charicters together and really enjoy and understand the book.

another book i would love to read would be angela's ashes, the movie is good and i want to read the book. also the one about the life and times of virginnia wolf - does anyone know the name of it? it was in my head but it's gone lol.

Well most of the books i have read have been made into a film a few months after i read them? How strange is that? Normally the Michael Crichton ones.

My fave books would have to be:

1 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
2 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
3 Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
4 Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
5 Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Also love all Marion Keyes work too.

Sushi for Beginners
Watermelon
Lucy Sullivan is getting married
Last Chance Saloon
Under the Duvet
Angels

Still to read Rachel's Holiday (need to do that soon)

I hate Harry Potter and JK Rowling. She's nothing more than a plagiarist who's out to get the most money possible.

I can tell you like Harry Potter Lilo! :D

I can't really get stuck into a book however I did read one of the Harry Potter stories and it was a good book. Much better than the film.
When you reach for the stars, you may not quite get them, but you won't come up with a handful of mud either.
