I am in absolute fits of laughter watching the new comdey series, Litlle Britain. It's very League of Gentlemen and I recommend it to anyone.

Also, last series of Alan Partridge was an absolute gem!!!

Anyone like either???

Also, does anyone think British humour tops the Yanks?

i love british comedies they win hands down.

Friends and Will and Grace are good, but they dont make me laugh the way The Office, Little Britain, Only fools, Ab Fab etc do. British people have totally different sense of humour to americans and watching US tv it is quite apparent.

British comedy rocks, Monty Python anyone? Pheonix nights and the office are top selling and award winning comedies. When we send them over stateside (no offence when i say this) we normally have to dumb it down a little as most of the jokes dont work over there.

US ccomedy has its moments too, especially Will and Grace.

Does anyone watch 'Dilbert'? It started as a comic strip, and is still the most syndicated around the world, but a few years ago was made into an animated programme too. It is American, but it is brilliant - if you like that kind of thing.

I like Alan Partridge but not so keen on Little Britain. It's just not as good as League of Gentlemen

I think British comedy beats American comedy any day. They can't make something like Only Fools and Horses that all generations can watch. I think Friends is their best comedy but can they really come up with something which is as funny as The Office? :D
When you reach for the stars, you may not quite get them, but you won't come up with a handful of mud either.

Just remember to keep smiling!

I am upset. I missed nearly all of the programmes this christmas, either because i was out, fell asleep during them or forgot about them. I did video the first The Office prog, but them forgot about the second. So i have missed nearly all the good stuff!

I love The office, Phoenix nights, Little Britain, League of Gentlemen, Alan Partridge, Only fools and horses, Ab fab, basically i love everything!! oh did anyone watch the programme Grumpy old men recently? I thought that was hilarious! I loved most of it 'cause they were talking about how teenagers act and talk....Kinda reminded me of myself!!
