Hey, dont really know where to put this :-? but i put them on another website, and they were a big hit, and they've told me to share it :-? so i thought i'd put it on here...what you think?

THIS IS ME...

This is Me, the one you call the loner,
Blending in the crowd like a tree in a forest.
No one seems to know how this is,
Sometimes all you want to do is give up,
But there’s always something inside,
That helps you.
That stops you.
Somewhere deep inside is a place that cares.
No one can see it but you.
This is me, the one you call the loner.

Soon will be the day,
That I will rise above you all,
Soon will be the day,
That I will be laughing at you all.
I’ll be the one in the tall building,
The one that towers over you.
This is me, the one you call the loner.

But for now,
I blend in,
Waiting for the day that someone will rescue me,
The day that the place deep inside me says;
Today is the day.
Today is the day?
When will that come?
One day, one year,
I’ll shine above the rest,
I’ll tower over you all.

But for now.

This is me, the one you call the loner,
Blending into the crowd like a tree in a forest.
No one seems to know how hard this is.
This is me, the one you call the loner.

Also got this one:

Hello?

It is time for me once again,
To let out the anger that lies inside.
Punishing myself every minute of the day,
When will things go my way?
Will someone here the cry from the inside?
Then a softly spoken voice announces its arrival,
Repeating the same word over and over again,
Hello?

Another day passes,
Just another day of being in a world with no one else in it.
You ask yourself everyday,
Will this ever end?
Walking down the street,
Cars passing you,
Girls giggling, linking arms,
Boys playing football, having a laugh.
Then there’s me,
The one at the sidelines.
Knowing no one will come.
A smile creeps into view,
But slowly fades to dust when you realise no one is there,
No one.
That softly spoken word repeats itself,
Too soft for anyone to notice.
Hello?
You invent a world to yourself.
Slowly adapting the fact no one is giving you the safety rope to happiness.
No one.
This world is far away from anyone, just my world.
But no one will know how I feel on the inside,
No one can hear the cry from the inside,
The desperate scream for help.
No one,
That softly spoken word repeats once again.
No one will hear it... Give up,
Just try once more...
Hello?

And finaly:

Second home

Along the winding roads,
and the rush of the cars,
it seems to take an age to get there,
but eventually, we arrive.
i stand and look at the the building...
the building,now my second home.

it seems like ages ago since i was last here,
but it really only a week.
i walked up the gravelled path
feet crunching on the hard floor,
with every step i take
another normal day flows thorugh me
in my second home.

I walk in,
say my hello's and make my way up the stairs.
Only to find the familiar sight,
my brother alseep,i laugh
"probaly up all night".
I know i won't see him that day.

Once back downstairs,
i see my dad watching his usual saturday football.
It seems like another world.

Night draws near,
my dad goes to bed.
I'm all alone.
Telly to keep me company,
and now the tears...
I long for dawn to creep up on me.
I think about the past
the memories of a family
around a christmas tree.
Never again.

Dawn comes,
time to go,
didn't see my brother.
Hardly talked to my dad.
Just another visit to my second home.

Not much good *shrugs*
some people never listen. Others never try, with eyes and ears shut tight.. the world just passes them by.

My fave is If by Rudyard Kipling

If by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

Special isn't it

Vlad
