I dont think it really matters about their nationality that much but i do think that a younger actor is needed. Pierce is a good actor but he just doesn't have the sexiness that a young Sean Connery had and most of my mates agree on this.

i think that lovely ewan would be good, hes a great actor and can do all accents lol. but i think connery was one of the best bond's, he has a certain debonair quality about him, plus he is sexy, not just his accent, even now theres something very sexy about him, but not his accent, and roger moore is just... not lol.

In the upcoming live action Thunderbirds movie, Sophia Myles plays Lady Penelope. Sophia was born in 1980 and is currently 24 years young. In the television series the character of Lady Penelope was a lot older than how she will be potrayed in the movie (maybe, hopefully, movies), so this will be a twist on the personality and so forth of the character. With this idea in mind, which young male actors would you recommend to play James Bond?

How about Orlando Bloom? =P~ He's young and British. :D
When you reach for the stars, you may not quite get them, but you won't come up with a handful of mud either.

Okay, it wouldn't work following tradition, but the question I posed is about twisting that tradition. The character wouldn't be portrayed in the same he has been. That's the point!

No i get you it would be like an updated remake type of thing. I think Bond needs a makeover the old format is getting tired. When you said about a younger one the Cruel Intentions films sprung to mind because they are the sort of thing made by the new generation of actors.

The younger James Bond - hey Jim Bond would be very sexy and go to classy nightclubs, drive a Viper and have a wicked apartment over the Thames.
