How was it for you?

Postby Moose » Sun Dec 19, 2004 6:04 pm

How was 2004 for everyone on here? Best/worst things that have happened? Something you wanted to happen, but it didn't? Anything you didn't expect?

It could have been better.

A lot of family issues, a lot of personal issues, rejection from jobs etc.......but on the plus side, I got onto a prestigious course I have made loads of new friends from that course and I have made a load more other friends locally too.

I love it when people just fall into your life for a perceived purpose.....I hope that makes sense.....

i think best year so far, i have got to know myself alot more. looking back a year ago i was a cocky little know it all, now im a mature reserved person who doesnt boast about her IQ score! This year has been good, very good :D

i was aiming to get a bass this year though, havent quite maneged it, but ive got back into my music, as it had taken a backseat to art lately, so i am made up with 2004 :D

I agree with Rock_Queen in that I have got to know myself more too. I don't think I take things so personally now. I have also started a new course, which wasn't easy, having not been in study for 3 years.

However, like LME, I have had over 40 job rejections. My relationship has been loads of hassle. I have drifted even further away from my family. And I honestly believe that I have cried more this year than in any year of my life. (apart from when I was a baby, as you cry all the time then!)

I would rate 2004 as pretty rubbish, but I am confident (not sure why, just a feeling) that 2005 will be better.

This year was good.

I've become incredibley comfortable with my sexuality, I've made some even greater friends, and school's fine.

What a rubbish year....

Family problems, split up with my boyfriend, cut myself loads this year (I can't wear T-shirts anymore unless they're under a long-sleeved top as I've got many scars now :( )

I'm just hoping that 2005 will be a hell of a lot better. :)

Chin up people. It's a fresh start. :D

Mixed fortunes this year.

I did my first solo flight and i've been continuing to make my dream of becoming a pilot come true.

However, as some of you know my counseller told me i'm only 1 figure away on the BMI scale from being defined as anorexic and also on the verge of depression...

but i'd say the flying pretty much compensates for it all, i'm happiest up in the sky. :D
