i personally think that they are making to big of deal out of it! and i also think so even if he is a royal hes still a young lad and is still going to be doing things that normal kids his age do so i dont know why they should criticise him! the photo the person took of him like that which obivously started this whole thing off i think is wrong aswell because he should be able to have some freedom without having to worry about photographs being taken of him!

well, i dont see what the biggie is really. I see why people could be offended and stuff, but he wasnt doing it to be offensive. However, he should have thought because its obvious that it would get up somebodys bum so he should have thought. Apparently they wont take him at Sandhurst now.

I know what you mean but as a royal he WILL be in the public eye and so close to the anniversary of Auschwitz too.......he may be a 20 year old but sad to say, he's not like normal people. He should be, but that's not the way it is.

Saying all that, it really has been hyped up far too much.

However I don't think he should be allowed in the army. I'll explain tomorrow :)

Personally I think they are victimising him because he is the prince. how ever being the prince he should have a bit more tact.
Though i do agree though because it's not like he chose to be the prince, he just wants to be himself and they arent letting him. it's not right or fair.. anyone on the street wouldnt get it in the neck so neither shoul dhe, public i or not because he's there in volountarily...

When he gets into the army he will be made an officer, rather than starting at the bottom. After speaking to a few of my squaddie mates, I would rather see him go in at the bottom as the officers are supposed to show more tact and discipline than that, whether they are in the public eye or not.

Point is, he isn't anyone off the street, voluntary or not.

Media shouldn't hype it anymore but he needs to think twice before doing something like that again.

Not as simple as all that (see my army post, which will later be expanded).

Yeah, I agree that it's been blown out of proportion.

I think, and don't get me wrong the WW2 was purposeful in stopping Hitler's evil tirade, that the war is still too prominent in everyday life in the UK and in Russia
I mean, it was a great achievement to beat such an evil power but people died, they should be remembered. The Russians, I always think, have a certain smugness about it but really it was a sad event and not one to laugh about or celebrate to any great extent
Last night I dreamt that somebody loved me.
