Yes! Had mug shots of my bruised nose taken and everything. They only took my phone though... but that's what happens when you're walking in the middle of a city at 3am on your own :(

Hun, I know you're at that age when you have to be tough and cool about everything, but don't walk through the city at night on your own - it's not clever. Next time it could be much worse.

Oh it's not exactly related to today but more like almost everyday nowadays - the mounting exam stress and the pressure I'm continously getting from my mother (particularly because of my not-very-satisfying previous exam results) causing me to lie to her every now and then, which makes me feel pretty bad about. And I'm starting to feel like a complete failure. Everything I dislike seems to be cropping up in my head and I think about them more now instead of focusing on good stuff! Oh, there's more but it's real late here and I'm supposed to be asleep now...

Happy I know it's hard but you have to realise you are doing your best and trying really hard. It's horrible when parents have unrealistic expectations. Your mum does it because she wants the best and doesn't realise the stress she is putting you under
You have just done so well in your grade 5 piano. Don't let her make you feel bad.
You may not be the best at everything but you are doing really well and better than everage if I remember rightly
You will go out into the world and make something of yourself because you work so hard
Make sure you take some breaks and perhaps try to explain how you are feeling really stressed to your mum and if that doesn't work perhaps chat to a nice teacher

My worst thing - I can't have a bath. :(

Because after I ripped up the 40-year old carpet from my flat for Mr Carpet Fitter to put some slightly more modern stuff down, I started hoovering up the 40-year old dust. And my hoover went up in flames. :o

Obviously I shoved it in the bath and drowned it.

But I can't have a bath now. And I've got bits of skin falling off, and I'm covered with 40-year old dust.

Ah, well - a rub down with a damp dishcloth and a big glass of wine should do the trick... :D

btw, Pwif thinks my hoover was so shocked at actually being switched on, that it spontaneously combusted...pwif's nasty sometimes.

Peecee hasn't realised that her hoover hasn't had a plug on for the past 15 years. =D>
