How do i get a title under my name, above my avatar? Can i do it myself, or do the mods have to do it for me? I would like it to say serial-sociology-skiver. thanks

You can not select your own rank.

Most boards use ranks to indicate the number of posts you have made and to identify certain users, for example moderators and administrators have a special rank.

It's possible that in the future we might provide a feature so you can select your own rank. Before we allowed the Avatar feature we had to have members build our trust in them.

So far no one has linked to an unsuitable image - yet. I hope it stays that way, but inevitably someone will come along and abuse the service.

In the same way, we will base future changes and upgrades on the strength of the community. And it's a strong community...
