Do you use MSN Messenger Moose? I can't do it at the moment but I'll be available next year (sounds good that doesn't it he he) to walk you through various troubleshooting stuff.

Yes I do use msn - you should see my Moose address in my profile (maybe I haven't updated it since downtime - I'll check in a sec).

Thanks for the offer - I'd very much like to take you up on it.

*Thankful, smiley face, if there is one*

Okay I'm checking in at a friends house, and I'm experiencing the known issue. He uses broadband. Will look into this when I'm sober.

Still not working for me and I've cleared my cache and cookies. I can't tell which posts are new either so it's difficult to moderate. Hmmm... wierd.

For some reason the server is returning the 403 status code for images, but for images that are loading as well as those that aren't.

HTTP Status Code: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
Date: Sun, 02 Jan 2005 11:54:45 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.3.9 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.22 OpenSSL/0.9.7a
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/html
X-Pad: avoid browser bug

Oh my God, as if by magic, everything is back to normal! It was all red-cross-like about 5 minutes ago, then I had to log off to use the phone, and now everything is normal. If someone did something, thank you very much.

:D :D :D

I had to re-enable hotlinking - I had disabled it but it must have been blocking images from some servers. I don't know why though, will have to learn more about it!
