2nd July Updates

Postby Jo » Sun Jul 02, 2006 8:45 pm

Please post here if you notice anything strange after the 2nd July updates!

Things I already know about are...

1. I know that everything went strange while the updates were being carried out, and I had to turn the forums off!

2. The link to the chat room has temporarily gone (I'm going to install the updated version).

So what have the updates done, Jo? I was hoping PP could do my ironing and make me cups of tea, but it still doesn't work... :(

I wish it could do that for me too :(

They are mainly security updates put out by the people who make the forums, but I took the opportunity to update the chat room too. This should solve the problem that some people have had with random giant smilies bouncing around all over the chat screen!

I love that song. I even love the BBC version. Ahhh Fidel! Are you noticing any strange happenings since the update?

Yes, it's well used in Trainspotting. The BBC did a version of it? How?

No, everything is "as you were"

I especially like to sing the bit that Gabrielle sings...
"I like to spend it with-a-yoooooou!"
And also the bit with the guy from the Pogues.

Have you noticed the new bits and bobs in the chatroom? Who was it who was getting giant bouncing smilies all over the chat screen? Has it stopped?

Not sure if this is anything to do with the updates, but I access PP from a few different computers, and since the updates, I'm finding that I'm having to log in every time on two of the computers (even though I'm ticking the Log In Automatically Every Time box). Not a massive problem though, and may be just a coincidence.

Oh, and I like Kirsty Maccoll's version of Perfect Day!

When I include a

link,

it's not underlined or a different colour. Missed one in a pm someone sent me, until they pointed it out. Having said that, my pc has been kicking up over the last couple of days, could it be that? :-?
