Just wanted some help with work

Will i still get paid from work for when i went to my grandads funeral.

Got to give my boss my hours tomorrow and dont know what to put down.

It depends on the company's policy, how long you've been with them, how many hours you usually work...

If you're uncertain, ask your boss. If you do this incorrectly, it could look as though you're claiming you were at work when you actually weren't. If your boss won't help, ask another member of staff or, if you can, contact HR and ask them what the policy is.

if it was a day you were meant to work, then it depends on your boss. most bosses will just let you have the day as compassionate leave, so i'd say write the hours down anyway and ask your boss tomorrow. better you ask than miss out on a days pay that you might have got. it also depends on the company and whether they actually offer compassionate leave for funerals. sorry to hear about your grandad btw...
