you get a fine of £60 (if you pay within 14 days) and your insurance premium will probably increase but I couldn't say how much by

Will they really bother to fine you for going 34mph instead of 30? I thought there was abit of 'give' in the rule in the sense that if you was going over 35mph they would fine you etc.
Remember how the runway lights looked one night long ago when you were lost and found your way, and how-you still dont know?

you'll be fine, you shouldn't get anything for it. did you see the camera flash? if you get more than 6 points in your first 2 years i'm pretty sure you get your licence taken off you but really don't worry you won't get a fine for it x

the cameras dont normally flash when there in a van they just constantly record using a laser gun. it depends what area you live in but avon and somerset police were i live say on there website that you are offered a course if you are doing less than 39 mph in a 30 mph zone. thats only if you get done by a camera in a van as its the safety camera partnership thaat does it. id check your local police,s website but im pretty sure itll be the same so you can stop worrying now. :D

i'm pretty sure the allowance is 10% so 33mph or above is a fine.
normally you get 3 points but i thought from your first post you knew you'd get 6 points, I assumed it was some new rule for new drivers I didn't know about

They give you a chance up to 33mph in a 30 zone. I dont know where you are but in the Northumbria police area (Scottish borders down to Durham) they run a "training course" its £65 and no points, it takes 3 hours (only if you are caught driving 34-36mpph)- the aim is to "educate" instead of punish, hopefully they have something like this in your area, as I attended over 2 years ago and it was in trial stages then. (Its worth it if you get offered to pay £65 get "educated" and get no points, than pay £60 and get 3 points and have it on your licence.

my dad did that but he was doing 100 in a 70mph zone.
not an option everywhere though
Usually receive fines within 2 weeks and stay valid for 3 years but you can't have them removed from your licence for 4 years and then you have to pay to have a clean licence unless you move house

I wouldn't worry too much, even if you are done for speeding you would only get a fixed penalty notice (3 points and a fine) so you wouldn't lose your license. My understanding was that they gave you 10% plus 2 miles i.e. 35 in a 30, 46 in a 40 etc so hopefully you'll be ok. If you do get a penalty notice for this one you'll just have to be extra vigilant for the next 18 months to make sure you don't get another one before the probationary period is up.
