Not FUNNY! - Drama Group Worries

Ok. I'm goin to a drama group in a few days i can dance very well and have lots of trophies but i cannot sing and i have to, by myself!! :o i go flat and cant get the right pitch or sing high! got any tips for my confidence and singing? pleaz, please help!!!! :cry:

Hiya,

You could always show off your dancing first to impress them. When you sing, even if you can't then give it your best, imagine you can sing and put a dance to it, lol. Even if you sound like cats fighting...at least they wont ask you again :wink:

Beleive in yourself and you should do fine!

Probably too late now but you could have tried hypnotherapy - sometimes nerves can affect your voice can't they? so could have tried hypnotherapy to help you relax while performing.
Its often better to break your leg and get it fixed than to suffer with chronic pain that you can just about ignore...

Dont look at anyone while your singing, just pretend your in the shower, or if not why not pretend their all naked :o

Im sure you will be fine most of the pop stars in the charts at the moment cant actually sing. They have special equipment (or session singers) to make them sound good (Geri Halliwell!!!) Pop down to your local toy shop and get one of those microphones that make you sound like a robot and say your doing a dance track.

i no this my be a late reply but i can sing very well befor i had singing lessons i was a bit like you now (well then) and then i got singing lessons which improve your voice and boosts your confidence aswel
im 18 and i have a lot of probs
