Career?

Hiya everyone, if you have read some of my other posts you will see that i love to ski and i am going to race for my county, i really would like to become a skier and i think i could make it. Do you think i'm silly hanging my hopes on it?xxx

No, of course not. It's good that you have ambition in life and that you aim high. So long as you're confident enough in your ability then I see no reason why you shouldn't go for your goal.

Just make sure you have a back up plan in case it doesn't all go the way you'd like, just to be safe.

Hey, in a couple of years' time, do you want to look back and say "well, I enjoy my job in this office *sigh* but I wish I'd tried that ski-ing lark, only it's too late now..."

Even if it doesn't turn out the way you hope, how will you know unless you try? And you'll enjoy trying.

i think if you are confident you can go somewhere with it and you enjoy doing it than i think you have a good chance! good luck!

DO IT, and don't let anyone discourage you.

Don't let them tell you that you need a "back-up plan" in case you don't make it... if you are 100% committed then there's no question that you WILL make it!
