when you go for sti tests what do they actually do to ya?

that depends on what your being tested for - could be a swab could be a blood test?

all are very different tests for gonorrhea they do a high vaginal swab but if you want the doctor will give you the swab to do yourself. The same for chlamydia however, sometimes the doctors have protocols and policies that won't allow them to leave you do this one yourself find a place that does whether its a gum clinic or your GP. For HIV they do a blood test. I am not sure about syphilis however, this is characterised by awful graze type marks all over the bottom of your feet or face, I'd imagine they swab this. For genital warts they would have to examine you.
