no boobs - depression

Postby hayleygreenhalgh » Sat Apr 11, 2009 6:57 pm

ok ive asked everyone i know about this and they are all saying the same thing so i hope i will get an answer im looking for on here. im 18 years old and i am still an A. it is sooo hard trying to find nice bras that fit and personally its soooo depressing, my mum even took me to the doctors to see if there was any other answers beside boob jobs because im soooo depressed about it. i feel like a freak and i know that i will never be happy with my self until i have some boobs, theres so many outfits and dresses and things i can wear because of it. i dont want to resort to surgery but if there its nothing else than its definatly an option. ive heard that there are supplements an pills you can take to increase your hormorne intake and boost your size but looking at the prices i dont want to try any till i knw what does and dosnt work or if theres even other options. if any1 knows anything that can help me or what kind of things work please tell me im desperate :(

As a male I cant really offer any advice about how to increase your size..

However i'd just like to say that having bigger breasts really isnt everything. From a males perspective im not entirely fussed about a partners breast size. What counts is the person within and that fundamentally is more important. I can understand though that this is a confidence thing really but i'd recommend just accepting yourself for who you are. Focus on your good points, im sure that there are many. Obviously if you can find some natural way of increasing their size then try it, but dont go under the knife unless you really have to.

You're only 18 and you have alot going for you. Stay positive.

Hi, I just wanted to say,its quite possible that they havent finished growing yet as your only 18,are you very petite?do small boobs run in your family? If so then maybe you are just destinede to be this size in which case you only have 2 choices, learn to love them, or go for surgery. You can get many good gel bras etc that will boost them a bit for you till you make your mind up.Im not positive but I heard that the contraceptive pill can make them a bit bigger, dont know if its noticibly or not tho.My cousin got surgery cos she was unhappy with hers, but she was quite a bit older with 2 kids, and then i have a friend saving as we speak for a reduction. At your age I personally think I would not rush into anything,as putting weight on, having kids etc can all change their appearence anyway, and the only person who sees them should be your boyfriend/future boyfriend who probably didnt get with you for your breast size.

This question comes up on this site quite a lot, Hayley, so if you do a search you'll probably find some more useful replies. However, just as a quick response, yes, there are tablets which may increase your size a bit. These will all be hormones, either the contraceptive pill (although it never changed my breast size at all) or the herbal ones based on plant hormones. But I wouldn't recommend taking a tablet which will have all sorts of side effects and some risks just for a possible slight change to your breasts.

Artificial breasts need replacing/revising about once every 15 years (more often for some people, less for others) so if you have surgery you are committing yourself to a lifetime of major operations. If you do decide to go for surgery, put it off at least until you're 21, as 18 is too young to make such a big decision (even if you do have surgery eventually, you'll make a better decision about the implant size when you're a bit older).

And finally, you may learn to love your small breasts. I certainly did. I am also an A, and when I was younger like you I would have jumped at the chance to be bigger. Luckily for me, my parents kicked me out quite young, so I wasn't in a position to afford surgery until I was about 25, by which time I had thought better of it. Now I am 35, I am so pleased I am small, as my bust hasn't dropped under the influence of gravity and has kept its shape. And as the Captain said, most men aren't that bothered, although I did chuckle a bit in my last relationship, when my (younger) partner commented "It would be hard to imagine anyone with nicer breasts than yours". It made me realise again how I should never have worried about being small. ( And it makes me feel a little better about my thighs! )

i too am an A and at 19 years of age, i have just excepted it.

to be honest, i have tried breast enlargement supplements in the past and i wouldn't recommend them, they don't work and they're a waste of money. If they worked, everyone would be using them.

a lot of people say their breast size increase after going on the contaceptive pill. i know this worked for a number of my friends, but didn't for me..it's always worth a try though if the pill is right for you.

As for the surgery, put it off for a few years, the longer you wait to get them the less you will have to get them redone... also there are new ideas and forms of surgery becoming available, some less troublesome than implants. but please do your research.

in the meantime i highly recommend these gel bra's

they are a little pricey but absolutely amazing

all the best

A few of my friends increased size when they went on the pill; I don't know if I did or not; I have done (by about half a cup size) but I've also put on a little weight with the pill so it's probably more down to the weight gain than the pill.

I'm 24, I take a B or a C depending on the fit; I'd like bigger too but I wouldn't want an operation because imagine when you are 70 and you've decided no more impants then they are just going to be all saggy and similarly if you are 70 and you still get implants - it's going to be a porno granny.

Unfortunately larger boobs run in my family - my mam takes an F or a G and she always says she'd love to have mine. Also having large boobs subjects you to a lot of negative attention and then you are only seen as a sex symbol rather then as a person.

Avon used to do a bust enlarging cream, i think they still do
I used a similar cream a long time ago when i had smaller breasts and it did make them a size bigger, link below
I think it's more to do with the rubbing of the cram stimulating something, but I can't actuall remember where i read that

Don't expect results immediately I am sure it took about 6 weeks before I noticed a difference

I think 6 weeks to notice a difference is pretty quick - I was expecting you to say 6 months at least.

Even if you notice some difference it's enough to think "it is working" and continue.

When I went on the pill my breasts grew A LOT! (Although I didn't want them too)
I went up two bra sizes, so maybe considering going on the pill?
Everyone I know who has been on the pill have said their breasts have enlarged.
I can't really think of any thing else hun, sorry.

MOST PEOPLE I KNOW WHO WENT UP IN SIZE AFTER THE PILL DIDN'T JUST GO UP IN THE BOOBS THOUGH

IF YOU PUT ON WEIGHT YOU MAY GET BIGGER BOOBS BUT IT DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK

on caps as usual :bomb:
