Coils are tiny little things, you know. Get your GP or nurse to show you one. When the womb's empty (not pregnant) it's minute.

yes i have had one it is like a tiny little t shaped piece if plastic , much thinner than a biro and about 1.5" on the long part of the t and maybe 0.75" along the top
you cannot feel it
my displaced and I still couldn't feel it
having it put in is unconfortable but taking it out you don't even feel a thing

I have to admit I didn't realise it was so small, but I still don't like the idea of it being inserted/removed! I'll stick with the good ol' pill for now!
