My problem is I think it was meant as a joke...the guy is French and thinks these kind of things are funny. He normally pushes it too far with me but he normally knows when he's gone too far.

Don't even dignify people like that with a response. Do not allow this guy to make you feel bad. He may well like size 0 woman but lots of men like something to get hold of. His opinion should not be important to you he is just some random guy.

I know you are bothered about your weight and that is totally different because you need to be happy with yurself but even if you got to a size your comfortable with there is no guarantee another rude ignornat bloke or woman wouldn't have something else to pick on about. You have to learn to ignore people whose opinions are not improtant to you

I think what helps is that no matter what people will always say something nasty or wrong to someone else, especially about their weight. Even really skinny people get it too, it's not being singled out which some people might feel it's that people are just either ignorant or stupid.

I know yearsa go I was standing in a taxi queue after a night out and some guy behind me said "you need to eat some pies love" - I didn't mind the comment because I was happy how I looked...my friend gave me a cuddle and kept asking if I was ok; I think she actually said something to him which was really nice of her.

Yes, do you remember Spacegirl said in a thread recently that she was too thin, and that someone had made a comment on her meal - specifically, about food being wasted on her because she obviously wasn't going to eat it. No matter how much or little you weigh, there will always be someone who can find a nasty comment to make if they are that way inclined.

I still don't think it would make much difference being a good picture or not; it still didn't look it :P

If you want to loose weight instead of setting say 11 stone as your target; make 13 stone your first target and then 12 stone and then finally 11 stone. It's easier to reach smaller targets, even aim to loose half a stone...if you set small targets and you can reach them you will feel more upbeat rather than thinking OMG another 2.5 stone to go; you'll be thinking wow I met my first target :D.

    me.

I like chocolate but I used to work in supermarket and my job on a Sunday for 9 hours was to stack the sweets you see on the checkouts (you know put new stock out and rotate them) - I used to have the constant smell of chocolate and it kind of put me off - it's great for chocoholics. Also I got a box of roses for my birthday in June and there is still about half left - I do like chocolate and I had a couple the other day but occasionally I have 2 sensitive teeth and it's jut agony to eat chocolate so I don't eat it much. The other day when I got them out to eat....sensitive teeth. It also puts me off
