The problem with weight watchers and diet food in general is that in an effort to bring the calories and fat down they replace a lot of the constituents of the food with artifical stuff, meaning that a lot of the nutrients are replaced with rubbish. The net result is that the food although less calorie dense are worse for you than the non diet alternative as the calories are wasted i.e. they contain nothing of any use.

I always used to prefer and opt for white bread and didn't used to be keen on brown, but I've recently switched to it for health/weight loss reasons and found I like it more now. It's definitely got much more flavour!

But brown bread doesn't toast very well or eggy very well (for eggy bread, not that I eat it often). Plus I don't like the taste of it.

I disagree about toasting, don't think it makes any difference? Don't know about using it for eggy bread

Ooh I prefer brown toast. I dont much like brown bread for sandwiches, but I think brown makes better toast than white :)

I don't think the brown gets as crispy as white bread. It always seems kinda soggy where white doesn't.

Brown bread does certainly not 'eggy' very well (I actually get quite upset if we only have brown bread and I fancy eggy bread). lol. My bf prefers brown bread and he agrees with the 'eggy' comments.

I don't like thick bread lol. The only time I do is if it has a really crusty crust on it.
