Ouch (embarrassing problem)

Postby innocent » Sun Sep 06, 2009 5:01 pm

i have a small tear 'down there' where women giving birth get them! its just a skin tear but it must of happened when i was having sex with my boyfriend. is this common? i'm really embarrassed and a little bit worried incase it happens again, i don't know why it has happened, i've been with my boyfriend for nearly four years.
is it not unsensible to put sudocrem on it? x

Ouch Iv had this off giving birth,it stings! It wont harm you to put sudocrem on after all you use it on babies bums, also vaseline is good to form a barrier which will stop it from stinging when you have a wee.Time will heal it,so 'rest' it and dont be too rough in future!lol

Hello,

I'm a man, so maybe it's not quite the same, but i've torn the piece of skin between the penis shaft and my foreskin before, affectionately known as the 'banjo string'.

I'm not absolutely sure why it happened, maybe we were a little too eager, but in any event it healed up fine and I think it's actually less likely to happen again because a small amount of scar tissue developed, which as most people know, is tough.

I realise women are different but the same principles probably apply.

Maybe some extra lubrication would help ...

Innocent, this may sound a bit strange but how did you know you had a tear? A couple of weeks ago I was extremely sore during sex, it felt like I was being stabbed and we had to stop. I didn't do anything about it cos I was going away for a week and this week its been fine during sex but stings a bit when i use the bathroom. should i get it checked out? i'm all for letting it heal by itself but my boyfriend said i'd be better safe than sorry. Easy for him to say, I'm the one who would have to have my legs akimbo in the doctors!!

You could have got cystitis though as that hurts when you pee and you can get it from bruising (as well as other ways) which a rampant session could definatley cause

I've never had any sex-related injury. This thread is beginning to make me think my sex life must be boring compared to everyone else's
