Dark Hair on my Upper Lip!?

Postby ILoveYou » Thu Feb 11, 2010 9:54 pm

Recently, the hair above my upper lip has gotten really dark! It looks awful. I've had it waxed off loads of times, but my mom can't afford to fork out for a waxing every month! People in my classes laugh and stare. It's not bullying, because they only do it once or twice a month. But when they do do it, I feel like rubbish. It makes me soooo self conscious. What do I do?

Can't you remove it yourself with tweezers or a facial epilator? You can also buy facial wax strips quite cheaply at the chemist, but facial waxing can cause skin irritation so I'm not sure that's a good idea on your own.

I agree with Snail's suggestions, but alternatively you could bleach it. You can buy bleach that's specifically for facial hair. If it was lighter, it would be less noticeable

If you are going to wax yourself get someone to help you and tell them to pull the strips off fast
