Twitchy eye driving me mad

Post by whoopsie » Wed Mar 17, 2010 1:13 pm

Does anyone know the real reason for your eyelids twitching? My right eye has been going on and off for almost 2 weeks and I'm really to get rid of it!!

Is it down to tiredness? That's what I've always been led to believe, or is it down to something else?

I just googled it:
Causes of Eye Twitching
There are various causes of eye twitching in its serious and not so serious formats. The more common causes for eye twitching include:

* Corneal irritation or injury
* Stress
* Lack of sleep
* Fatigue
* Prolonged staring or eye strain
* Neurological disorders
* Possibly Hereditary
It also mentioned exposure to bright lights (I dunno if you work somehwere with those strip lights or something?)

Why did I not think to google it?!?! Stupid girl. :roll:

I guess it could be fatigue or prolonged staring or eye strain from using a computer.

Thanks Kerrie

It's always stress for me. In fact eye twitching is one of the first signs that I'm very stressed.
These mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb.

You know you're a mum when the thought of food shopping alone becomes exciting.

When you and your significant other are having an argument, just take all of your clothes off during the spat and stand there. Something is bound to happen!! =]
