Resting Heart Rate - Stress

Postby rufio89 » Tue Feb 08, 2011 2:58 pm

Hello,

Right, I'm generally a pretty healthy person - I eat well, I excersize etc. I'm not usually really aware of my heart beating unless I'm running.

Since my boyfriend and I split up, I've noticed that my resting heart rate has shot up to about 95bpm. I dont know know a lot about it, but I know that for a healthy person it's high and I know stress can affect it.

What I want to know really is whether I should be concerned at all? I thought about going to the doctor, as it's bothering me (in the sense that it's uncomfortable and it's making me feel like im constantly anxious), but as I'm sure it's stress related I dont know whether the doctor would be able to do anything!

What do you reckon?

If you don't have any other problems (breathlessness etc) I'd be inclined to leave it and see. How is it now?
These mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb.
