Boyfriend of 7 years confused

My partner of 6 years has decided he doesn't know what he wants. We were planning to rent a flat together in the next couple of weeks and as the flat is being sold first we have had it in plan for 8 weeks now. We have bought over £2k worth of homeware and now he is saying he can't see a future with me but he doesn't want to end it because he might regret it. I am 26f and he is 25m.

He has had a couple of wobbles similar to this over the course of this year, 1 being in July and 1 in September where he has said he doesn't know if we're working.

Should I move on?

Yes, basically. This is dying a slow death, don't tolerate anyone's indifference towards you. Once he knows he can umm and ahh on YOUR time and at YOUR expense, he will keep doing it whilst potentially checking out other options before jumping ship completely. Don't wait for that to happen.

Tell him that you can't exist in a 'maybe, maybe not' situation as it isn't want you want either, and tell him it isn't working for YOU.

He won't see that coming. The relationship has become predictable and that's part of the reason he's lost interest. He knows exactly what to expect from you. So, show him something different. Don't stay with someone who don't appreciate you. Get rid, be firm about it, and let him re-evaluate once he's on his own.

So much more I could say but not in the mood to type loads for once
