Moving thousands of miles for new job

Postby everloney » Sun May 03, 2009 11:13 pm

Hi, This is not really a problem, Its just that I'm moving from england to California in a week and a half and I'm scared. I'm scared about my boss and colleges not liking me, I'm scared about missing my family and feeling alone. I'm also worried about money as California is expensive and my salary is low. I know this is all my own fault and I do want to go, I'm just scared but also a little excited. Just wondered if anyone else has ever done this or know someone that has?

If you don't try new things you never know what experiences you could be missing out on
It's natual to be scared
Go for it and let us know how you settle in

Yes, please do, and if you get a chance to tell us about California too - where you are, what it looks like, maybe even post some pics - that would be great :D

I am pea-green with envy, BTW =P~
These mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb.

I agree.

Also what is your new job, what are you doing? Are you starting to feel more comfortable with it? etc.
