Does anyone have any experience of siblings with schizophrenia. I'd really like to talk to someone about my experience.

It's been almost a year since my brother came out of hospital, and he's doing so well and I'm so proud of him. But there's still certain issues going on and I'd really like to discuss my feelings with someone who's been there...

I don't have any experience myself, but would organisations like MIND perhaps have support groups for families? As schizophrenia is relatively common, there'd probably be a group just for carers/families of people with this disorder. Or could you ask your brother's GP/psychiatric nurse about a family support group?

Ask your brother's GP/psychiatric nurse

"snail" has given good advice. :)

Could I ask though, would it be possible to talk directly to your brother ?

I feel that,it's true "outside help" can give you support, when needed,
this is an issue between yourself & your brother.
