I know this is really old...but having just come out of a 3 year relationship I feel the need to bump it, if just to preserve my sanity by writing it down.
Coming home from work and putting my PJ's on.
Not cancelling with my friends because he/she want's to do something.
Not getting a hard time for wanting to sit and read all afternoon.
Not having to spend loads of money to go and see him.
Getting to watch Eastenders.
Not having to spend time with people who's company I don't enjoy.
Not having to cook meat (I'm a vegetarian)
No one having a go at me about little stupid things.
Not having to be worried that he would be angry with me for things that were beyond my control (the train being late for example)
I realise that these are quite specific things so even if no one agrees with them, or even reads them, it's helping me to get things written down.
Go to Glasgow at least once in your life and have a roll and square sliced sausage and a cup of tea. When you feel the tea coursing over your spice-singed tongue, you'll know what I mean when I say:
'It's good to be alive!'"
