Hey,
That sounds great! Thanks for the advice and I think i'm fully prepared for the questions now.
The lady on the phone asked me to bring in my National Insurance details, along with anything I feel is of relivance. I was thinking my ROA (Record Of Achievement) folder and a CV. Is there anything else I should take?
Regarding the PPL, if you feel that you could take up the challenge, go ahead and do it. The PPL is probably one of the worst (work wise) of the flying licenses as you learn everything..eg about navigation, VOR's, NDB's...etc Clouds, Aviation law, Radio Telephony...etc the list is endless. If you havent been interested in planes for a long time, it could be difficult but I think that you're clever enough to get through. As for me, my interest with planes began when I was 2 years old, living under the Heathrow flight path! Go and get your flying license, you won't regrete it. All the work is worth it and don't listen to those who say "oh, it's really hard...etc" because they just don't understand it. Besides, you won't have to use a nice "car" to impress the ladies no more, you can use a plane instead, and remember to wear the shirt, trousers and epulattes
Good luck
Ashley
