Postby lisaloo07 » Mon Mar 30, 2009 1:26 am

hello im Lisa
i have a bit of a dilemma :-k
i am currently studying at collage and will be going to uni next year but i need to decide witch one to go to ..
i live with my mom and next spring she is moving to Spain =[ witch i dont relly want her to..
i could stay here were i live
and i could stay with my boyfriend of 3 year and a couple of months and then just stay were i am and go uni
or i could go and live with my dad 9 hours drive away and study were he lives
so it is quite confusing ...
i really don't want to leave my boyfriend cos i think we will end up spilting up.
but i would love to go stay with my dad for a cuple of years.

somebody please help me ... i keep thinking about it and its geting me down ..
everyone keeps telling me to just do what my heart tells me but when i think of leaveing sam (my boyfriend) i feel like crying ..
but i would love to stay with my dad ...

any opinions welcome thanks :)

9 hours drive away, that means you must be at complete opposite ends of the country i.e john o groats and landsend?

Only you can decide how important your boyfriend is to you. Some people can make a long distance relationship work.
Are there other ways to travel to see each other i.e train or plane that would be quicker.

Also look at which area will give you the best education, will it be the uni near your Dad or Boyfriend.

Have you asked your boyfriend if he would be willing to move to your dads with you, if that is an option?

:D thank u for your reply
yes it is the other end of the country to where i am it could take less than 9 hours lol that's just what my dad told me =[
he moved urlea this year and when i go and see him i usually get the plain but that could start getting pricey
i have asked my boyfriend would he come with me and first of all he said he wouldn't be able to under stand the actsent but then when we aciley sat down and spoke about it he said he would love to but then at the same time he wouldn't love to he is a real family boy loves being with them all the time (witch there is nothing wrong with that) i would feel so guilty if i make him decide
and as for long distance i ges i could give it a try just who nows if it will work ? lol only us a ges
but thank u for reply apreciate it x

It sounds like your dad could live somewhere remote, if so think about your own social life etc
it might be a bad move to go somewhere that you will be cut off

Why do either of those options? You could pick a uni that you actually want to go to, to do the course you really want to.

If you had no one to consider, just think about yourself and no one elses feelings what would you honestly choose?
