There are a few sites where you can advertise and find people in similar situations.

One is http://www.gumtree.com and it has a section for "friends only" where you can put an advert up and e-mail people.

I've searced on google and found:
http://penpalworldwide.com/?CID=xpenpals031509main
http://www.e-palworld.co.uk/
http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/penpals.asp
http://www.headaches.org/NHF_Programs/Email_Pen_Pal_Program

I have no experience with these sites - so be careful when signing up or using them - there were loads of sites like these I've posted around when I did a search.

If you are looking for people for e-mail pen pal or whatever you need to introduce yourself a bit first...

Name, age, location (not too specific), interests etc.

but obviously be careful, dont meet up with anyone alone etc. People can pretend to be anyone they want on the internet.

That's true - I pretend to be a sensible, well-informed person on here all the time

True Snail, but it's not very convincing so no risk of people like you ;)
