Too Hot, but just right for ice cream

Post by rufio89 » Wed Jul 01, 2009 2:50 pm

The air con is broken at work.

Theyve got a fan going but it's sooooooo far away from my desk, I'm not getting any breeze from it.

I'm so sweaty, it's quite disgusting.

Brilliant heat wave eh. Close to my house is apparently flooded with all the rain today (someone from work has just driven close to my house); my bf said they have a power cut at home from the thunder...I'm at work (around 5 miles from home and 5 miles from bf's house) and it's bone dry, overcast and a tiny bit of blue sky (although it is getting darker). We heard thunder at work at least 3 or 4 hours ago.

I couldn't imagine why he was revolted.

I was in the middle of typing when my computer decided to shut down.

I was saying I can't imagine being hot since it's just "nice" here (temperature wise). I am however wondering how I'll get home; it's still dry at work...however my mam just texted and said all the roads to get home are flooded...oops.

I called my mom just and she said it has been a scorcher today! It's warm here too but we are expecting some quite bad storms running until Tuesday next week! Great...I hate thunder! Apparently it was like 30 yesterday there - hotter than most of Europe? God, I live there almost 13 years and as I soon as I leave you guys get good weather! :x

It’s dead hot here again today. My parents were going to do some decorating for us, but they’ve decided it’s too warm (I don’t blame them).

I want to be outside enjoying the sun! There’s a big open space just outside my office window and there’s people sat on the benches/grass just enjoying the weather – I am jealous!

The forecast isn’t looking good for the weekend either, so that’s poo

Personally I cannot wait for the storms to turn up this weekend and cool things down.

Yeah but convectional weather like thunderstorms cool it down which is better for everyone. I absolutely hate the 33C we've had lately. Its much nicer when its 23C.

I have to admit I’m with Rufio on this one; I love the sun and don’t want any thunderstorms! That means rain!
